No more splitting rolls ✂️

Howies thin white tape is the same tape as our classic, just 1.27 cm wide. Perfect for your knob and handle - without sacrificing the roll you use on your blade.

✂️

Why thin tape?

Getting the perfect grip is an important part of the game. Instead of splitting a roll, grab the thin tape - it's made with the same formula as our classic cloth tape and designed specifically for your knob and handle.

🔒

Why won't it peel?

Howies developed a special "aggressive" adhesive that is applied thoroughly and evenly to the fibers during production. That's why the tape holds tight and won't start peeling even after several practices.

Pro tip

Pair your tape with wax

Stick wax strengthens your tape, makes it last longer, and the puck will literally stick to your stick.

❓

FAQ

What is thin tape good for?+

Mainly for building a knob at the end of your stick, wrapping the handle and finishing touches. For the blade, we recommend the classic 2.4 cm width.

How often do I need to re-tape?+

It depends on how much you play and how hard you shoot. But thanks to the dense cloth and strong adhesive, Howies lasts much longer than cheap tape. Re-tape once it starts fraying or losing grip.

Does it work for inline or ball hockey too?+

Yes. On rough surfaces the tape wears faster than on ice, though, so expect to re-tape more often.
